Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling various detection systems such as HRP, AP, and fluorescence. Multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody, amplifying the signal. These antibodies are typically produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to ensure high specificity.
