Target Information
TBC1D23는 Rab GTPase-activating protein으로, 소포 수송(vesicular trafficking)에 관여합니다. Endosome-to-Golgi trafficking 과정에서 golgins(GOLGA1, GOLGA4)와 WASH complex를 동시에 결합하여 브리징 역할을 수행합니다. 또한 WDR11 complex와 함께 AP-1을 통해 생성된 소포 포획을 매개합니다. 뇌 발달 및 신경돌기 성장(neurite outgrowth)에 중요한 역할을 하며, 선천 면역 신호 억제에도 관여합니다. 초기 활성화에는 영향을 주지 않지만, LPS 자극 후 염증 유전자 발현의 유지 단계에 영향을 미칩니다.
