Target Information
SRPK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a role in the regulation of both constitutive and alternative splicing by regulating intracellular localization of splicing factors.
It localizes to the nucleus and cytoplasm, and is involved in controlling splicing factor distribution.
A second alternatively spliced transcript variant has been described, though its full length is undetermined.
