Target Information
LILRB4 is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family located in the 19q13.4 chromosomal region. It encodes a receptor expressed on immune cells that binds MHC class I molecules and transduces inhibitory signals to regulate immune responses. The receptor also participates in antigen capture and presentation, contributing to control of inflammation and prevention of autoreactivity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
