These kits provide a fast, reliable and convenient method for isolating high-quality, high-purity and inhibitor-free cfc-DNA from plasma or serum samples. Designed to isolate all fragment sizes from fresh or frozen specimens, the purified DNA is suitable for PCR, qPCR, methylation-sensitive PCR, Southern blot, microarray, and NGS applications.
Background
Cell-free circulating DNA (cfc-DNA) serves as potential biomarkers for cancers, autoimmune diseases, and fetal DNA in maternal blood. cfc-DNA fragments (<1000 bp) can be used for non-invasive prenatal testing, fetal sex determination, genetic disorder screening, and preeclampsia identification.

Storage and Stability
All buffers are stable at room temperature (15–25°C) for up to 2 years.
Proteinase K is ready-to-use and stable for up to 2.5 years at room temperature; refrigeration at 2–8°C extends shelf life.
