BAP31 (B-Cell Receptor Associated Protein, 31-kDa)는 소포체(endoplasmic reticulum)의 다중 막관통 단백질로, BAP29와 함께 homo- 및 hetero-oligomer를 형성합니다. 또한 BCL-2/BCL-XL 관련 단백질로 예측되는 잠재적 세포사멸 조절자로 알려져 있습니다.
BAP31의 C-말단 도메인에는 programmed death cascade의 initiator Caspase 1 및 8을 위한 두 개의 동일한 인식 부위가 존재합니다.
BAP31은 선택된 단백질을 골지체로 운반하는 역할을 하며, CFTR (cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator) 발현을 조절하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
