Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use material directly from original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (not below 20 µL).
Do not store kinase diluted.
Properly stored at -80°C, guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.

Target Information
BRSK2 (Brain-selective serine/threonine kinase 2) is mainly expressed in the brain, with weaker expression in testis and pancreas.
In insect cells, BRSK2 specifically phosphorylates WEE1A, CDC25C, and CDC25B in vitro.
DNA damage induced by UV irradiation or methyl methane sulfonate enhances endogenous BRSK2 kinase activity in a caffeine-sensitive manner and causes nuclear translocation.
Overexpression of BRSK2 in HeLa cells increases phosphorylation of CDC25C and induces G2/M arrest.
Small interfering RNA against BRSK2 partly abrogates UV-induced G2/M arrest, suggesting its role as a checkpoint kinase upon DNA damage.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
