Target Information
LTK (Leukocyte Tyrosine Kinase), also known as TYK1, is a receptor tyrosine kinase related to the insulin receptor subfamily. It is expressed in murine B-lymphocyte precursors and forebrain neurons.
ALK (Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase) and Ros share sequence similarity with LTK and are also receptor tyrosine kinases. ALK is highly expressed in the nervous system, and truncated forms are associated with certain lymphomas. The c-Ros gene, originally identified as an oncogene, is expressed in epithelial cells and may play a role in epithelial development.
