Product Specific Information
The 104 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD45 molecule (leukocyte common antigen, LCA) expressed in CD45.2 mouse strains such as C57BL/6, BALB/c, C3H/He, DBA/2, and others. CD45.2 is expressed by all leukocytes in these strains.

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 563 (BUV563) is a tandem dye emitting at 564 nm, optimized for UV (355 nm) lasers. Ensure instrument compatibility.
Staining and Handling Recommendations
- When using multiple polymer dyes (Super Bright™, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
- Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C using IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54).

Target Information
CD45.2 (leukocyte common antigen, LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells. It regulates Src-family kinases, lymphocyte development, and antigen signaling. Isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ in extracellular domains, influencing membrane localization and cell-type-specific expression. CD45.2 also modulates integrin-mediated signaling and apoptosis-related DNA fragmentation. CD45RA is an isoform with restricted expression among lymphoid subtypes.
