Target Information
This gene encodes a component of the conserved oligomeric Golgi (COG) complex, which consists of eight subunits essential for normal Golgi morphology and localization. Defects in the COG complex can cause multiple deficiencies in protein glycosylation. The encoded protein is involved in ER-Golgi transport.
