Target Information
The Ras-related superfamily of guanine nucleotide binding proteins includes R-Ras, Rap, Ral/Rec, and Rho/Rab subfamilies, which play key roles in endocytosis and biosynthetic protein transport. Rab proteins facilitate movement of carrier vesicles between the ER, Golgi stacks, and secretory vesicles, and are integral to endocytic pathways.
Rab39, also known as Rab39A, is a 217-amino-acid small GTPase involved in vesicular trafficking.
