STK39 (STLK3)는 세포 스트레스 반응 경로에 관여하는 단백질로, 저삼투 스트레스에 반응하여 여러 양이온-염화물 공동수송체를 인산화시킵니다. STK39는 p38 MAP kinase 경로를 활성화하며, 세포 스트레스 시 p38과의 상호작용이 감소합니다. 또한 남성 고혈압의 독립적 위험 요인으로 보고되었으며, 유전자 내 SNP가 혈압 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
