Reconstitution:

• Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• Ships as lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Store upon arrival at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C (protected from light) for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and encodes a multi-pass membrane protein localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. It binds estrogen, leading to intracellular calcium mobilization and synthesis of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate in the nucleus. This protein is involved in rapid nongenomic estrogen signaling. Alternate splice variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
