Target Information
Gap junction은 인접한 세포 간 이온 및 대사물질의 이동을 담당합니다. 각 gap junction은 두 개의 hemichannel로 구성되며, 각 hemichannel은 6개의 connexin 분자로 이루어집니다. Connexin 30은 Cjb6 유전자에 의해 코드되며, 뇌와 피부에서 높은 발현을 보입니다. 면역조직화학적으로 Connexin 30은 astrocyte의 gap junction 및 oligodendrocyte와 astrocyte 사이의 접합부에서 관찰됩니다. Connexin 43과의 공발현도 보고되었습니다. 또한 actin 필라멘트를 포함한 세포골격은 Connexin 30 gap junction의 조립, 이동, 안정화 과정에 중요합니다. Knock-out 마우스 연구에서는 Connexin 30 결핍이 신장 세뇨관 ATP 방출 및 압력 나트륨 배설을 저해함을 보여주었으며, Connexin 30 과발현은 세포 증식을 촉진하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
