Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
- The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
- Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
- For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
- Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
- Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
The P2Y2 receptor belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). This receptor family includes several subtypes with overlapping pharmacological selectivity for adenosine and uridine nucleotides. P2Y2 is responsive to both adenosine and uridine nucleotides and may play a role in controlling the cell cycle of endometrial carcinoma cells. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
