Target Information
Profilin은 인지질 및 poly-L-proline 결합 단백질로, 신호전달 경로와 액틴 필라멘트 역학 모두에 관여하는 12–15 kDa의 소형 단백질입니다.
두 가지 주요 형태의 Profilin이 존재하며, Profilin I은 대부분의 조직에서 높게 발현되지만 골격근에서는 낮은 수준을 보입니다. Profilin II는 주로 뇌에서 발현되며, 골격근, 자궁, 신장에서도 낮은 수준으로 존재합니다.
Profilin은 주로 세포질에 존재하지만, 세포막의 선단부나 주름진 막과 같은 동적 부위에서 더 높은 농도로 발견됩니다.
