Target Information
Profilin은 세포 내에 널리 존재하는 12–15 kDa 크기의 단백질로, 인지질 및 poly-L-proline과 결합하여 신호전달 경로와 액틴 필라멘트 동역학에 관여합니다. 두 가지 주요 형태(Profilin I, Profilin II)가 존재하며, 각기 다른 조직 발현 패턴을 보입니다.
- Profilin I: 대부분의 조직에서 높게 발현되며, 골격근에서는 낮음
- Profilin II: 주로 뇌에서 발현되며, 골격근·자궁·신장에서는 낮은 수준으로 존재
Profilin은 주로 세포질에 존재하며, 세포막의 선단부 및 주름진 막 영역 등 동적 막 영역에 고농도로 분포합니다.
