HNF4A 유전자 변이는 인간의 성인발병형 당뇨병(MODY1)과 관련이 있습니다.
HNF4A는 DNA에 homodimer 형태로 결합하며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 최대 9가지 isoform(HNF4A1~HNF4A9)을 생성할 수 있습니다.
