Target Information
MAGEA2는 MAGEA 유전자 패밀리에 속합니다. 이 패밀리의 구성원들은 전체 코딩 서열이 마지막 엑손에 위치하며, 단백질 간 50~80%의 서열 상동성을 보입니다. 프로모터와 첫 번째 엑손의 다양성은 동일한 기능이 서로 다른 전사 조절하에서 발현될 수 있음을 시사합니다. MAGEA 유전자는 다양한 종양에서 높은 수준으로 발현되며, 정상 조직에서는 고환과 태반을 제외하고는 발현되지 않습니다. MAGEA 유전자는 X 염색체 Xq28에 클러스터되어 있으며, 일부 유전 질환(예: 이형성 각화증)과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다. 이 유전자는 서로 다른 위치에 두 개의 동일한 복제본을 가지고 있습니다.
