This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.

Target Information

CD127 (Interleukin-7 receptor alpha, IL-7RA) is a glycoprotein involved in the regulation of lymphopoiesis. The active receptor is an alpha/gamma chain heterodimer.

• The gamma(c) chain associates with the interleukin-2 receptor and activates signal transduction.
• The alpha chain determines specific signaling events through cytoplasmic interactions.

CD127 promotes proliferation of precursor B cells, thymocytes, T cell progenitors, and mature CD4+ and CD8+ T cells.
Dysfunction of CD127 is associated with severe combined immunodeficiency and T cell negative/B cell negative/NK positive severe combined immunodeficiency.
