The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
OAZ1 catalyzes the conversion of ornithine to putrescine in the first and rate-limiting step of polyamine biosynthesis. It regulates polyamine synthesis by binding to and inhibiting ornithine decarboxylase. Its expression is auto-regulated through polyamine-enhanced translational frameshifting.
