Target Information
CKLF (Chemokine-like factor) is a cytokine involved in immune and inflammatory responses. The CKLF gene is part of a chemokine-like factor cluster on chromosome 16. CKLF acts as a potent chemoattractant for neutrophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes, and can stimulate the proliferation of skeletal muscle cells. It plays important roles in inflammation and muscle regeneration. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
