Product Specific Information
This antibody recognizes a cell surface antigen of 40–42 kDa similar to the human CD32 antigen. It is hypothesized that clone VPM63 may recognize a minor isoform of the ovine homologue of human CD32.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin Fc receptor family found on immune response cells. The encoded protein is located on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils and is involved in phagocytosis and clearance of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
