Target Information
이 유전자는 anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome(APC/C)의 구성 요소로, 세포 주기 조절에 중요한 E3 유비퀴틴 리가아제 복합체의 일부입니다.
APC/C는 B형 사이클린 등의 세포 주기 조절 단백질을 유비퀴틴화를 통해 26S 프로테아좀으로 분해하도록 유도합니다.
이 단백질은 APC/C의 유비퀴틴화 기능 및 전사 보조활성인자와의 상호작용에 필요하며, polyA 결합 단백질과 상호작용하여 내부 리보솜 진입 부위(IRES) 매개 번역을 억제합니다.
여러 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 일부는 하위 AUG 코돈에서 번역이 개시되어 짧은 단백질을 생성합니다.
