Product Specific Information

• This antibody has been successfully used in Western blot and IP applications.
• Antibody Specificity: Reacts with the light chains of mouse IgG and other mouse immunoglobulins. Does not react with the Fc portion of mouse IgG. No cross-reactivity with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins, though cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.
• Concentration Variability: May vary slightly by lot; refer to lot-specific datasheet for exact concentration.
• Restoration and Storage:
  • Store at 4°C until opened.
  • Restore with 1.0 mL distilled water (final concentration 0.7 mg/mL).
  • Centrifuge if not clear after 1–2 hours at room temperature.
  • After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C for several weeks.
  • Do not use diluted product for more than one day.
  • For extended storage, add equal volume of glycerol (final 50%) and store at −20°C.

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and designed for detection, sorting, or purification of mouse immunoglobulins. They enhance assay versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled mouse immunoglobulins, then purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity and performance.
