TUBB4A (beta-4 tubulin)은 베타 튜불린 계열의 단백질로, 알파 튜불린과 함께 미세소관(microtubule)을 형성합니다. 이 유전자의 변이는 hypomyelinating leukodystrophy-6 및 autosomal dominant torsion dystonia-4를 유발할 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사체 변형이 생성되며, X 염색체에 유사 유전자가 존재합니다.
