Target Information
Apolipoprotein A4 (also known as ApoA-IV) is a plasma O-linked glycoprotein found in HDL and newly synthesized chylomicrons. Although its full physiological role is not yet completely identified, in vitro studies indicate involvement in reverse cholesterol transport, facilitating cholesterol movement from peripheral cells to the liver.
