MA5-17104 targets ITGB4 in FACS, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with human samples.
The immunogen is a purified recombinant fragment of human ITGB4 (amino acids 1619–1822) expressed in E. coli.
MA5-17104 detects ITGB4, which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 202 kDa.

Target Information

Integrins are heterodimeric transmembrane glycoprotein receptors composed of alpha and beta subunits.
Different combinations of these subunits determine ligand-binding specificity and mediate cell-matrix or cell-cell adhesion.
Integrin β4 (CD104) acts as a receptor for laminins and associates with the α6 subunit, playing a pivotal role in invasive carcinoma biology.
Mutations in this gene are linked to epidermolysis bullosa with pyloric atresia.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
