Target Information

Integrin β4 (CD104) acts as a receptor for laminins and associates with the α6 subunit, playing a pivotal role in invasive carcinoma biology.
Mutations in this gene are linked to epidermolysis bullosa with pyloric atresia.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
