Applied Biosystems TaqMan Gene Expression Assays, VIC primer-limited, are used for quantitative real-time PCR analysis of gene expression.
Each assay consists of:

• A pair of unlabeled PCR primers
• A TaqMan probe with a VIC dye label on the 5′ end
• A minor groove binder (MGB) and nonfluorescent quencher (NFQ) on the 3′ end

These assays are primer-limited and ideal for multiplex reactions analyzing two different gene targets in the same qPCR well.
