KSR1은 Raf 계열 단백질의 인산화를 촉진하고 MAP kinase 경로를 활성화하는 다단백질 신호 복합체의 일부입니다. MAP2K1/MEK1 및 MAP2K2/MEK2 의존적 BRAF의 알로스테릭 활성화 인자로 작용하며, EGF 및 cAMP 자극에 의해 MAPK1 및 MAPK3의 활성화를 유도합니다. 일부 단백질 키나아제 활성이 in vitro에서 검출되었으나, 생리학적 관련성은 명확하지 않습니다. [UniProt]
