Product Specific Information
- Tested in direct ELISA (use 2–4 µg/mL for coating)
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 min
Target Information
This gene encodes a melanosomal enzyme belonging to the tyrosinase family, which plays a key role in the melanin biosynthetic pathway.
Defects in this gene are associated with rufous oculocutaneous albinism and oculocutaneous albinism type III.
