Target Information
DKK3는 DKK1, DKK2, DKK4와 마찬가지로 N-말단 신호 펩타이드와 2개의 보존된 시스테인 풍부 도메인을 가지며, 이들은 링커 영역으로 분리되어 각각 10개의 시스테인 잔기를 포함합니다. 두 번째 시스테인 영역은 WNT/DKK 상호작용을 매개할 수 있는 지질 결합 기능을 가집니다. DKK3의 링커 영역은 12개의 아미노산으로 구성되어 있으며, 다른 DKK 단백질보다 짧습니다. 모든 DKK 단백질은 furin-type 프로테아제 절단 부위를 포함하고 있습니다. Northern blot 분석 결과, DKK3 전사는 심장, 뇌, 척수에서 가장 높게 발현되며, in situ hybridization에서는 생쥐의 뇌, 눈, 심장에서 높은 발현이 관찰됩니다.
