Target Information
Napsin A는 주로 폐에서 발현되는 아스파르트산 프로테아제로, 신장 및 다양한 전이성 암 조직에서도 발견됩니다. 정상 폐 및 신장 조직에서는 서팩턴트 단백질 B를 처리하지만, 암 발생 시 비정상적으로 조절됩니다.
따라서 Napsin A는 여러 암의 식별 및 원발성 종양과 전이성 종양의 구분에 유용한 바이오마커로 사용됩니다.
Thyroid Transcription Factor (TTF-1)와 함께 분석할 경우, 암 유형의 구체적 감별에 높은 특이성을 보입니다. 또한 폐포 단백질증 및 신세뇨관 단백질 대사와도 관련이 있습니다.
