Target Information
The GRB7 gene encodes a growth factor receptor-binding protein that interacts with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and ephrin receptors. This protein is part of a small family of adapter proteins involved in receptor tyrosine kinase signaling. It plays a role in integrin signaling and cell migration through interactions with focal adhesion kinase (FAK). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms, with two full-length variants identified to date.
