Target Information
ATG10은 자가포식(autophagy)에 관여하는 단백질로, 세포질 내 구획을 리소좀/액포를 통해 분해하는 과정에 필수적입니다. 오토파고좀 형성에는 막의 재배열이 필요하며, 이는 APG12 단백질의 결합과 MAP-LC3의 막 결합형 변환이라는 두 가지 유비퀴틴 유사 변형에 의해 조절됩니다.
APG10은 이러한 유비퀴틴 유사 변형 과정에서 E2 유사 효소로 작용하며, ATG12–ATG5 결합 및 MAP-LC3(MAP1LC3A)의 막 결합형 변환에 필수적입니다.
ATG10 단백질은 대부분의 조직에서 발현되며, 인간의 APG10L 유전자는 염색체 5q14.2에 위치합니다.
