Target Information
Trefoil family 단백질은 최소 하나의 trefoil motif(40개의 아미노산으로 구성된, 세 개의 보존된 이황화 결합을 포함하는 도메인)를 가진 것이 특징입니다. 이들은 위장관 점막에서 발현되는 안정적인 분비 단백질로, 점막 보호, 점액층 안정화 및 상피 치유에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. TFF1 유전자는 위 점막에서 발현되며, 인간 종양에서의 발현 연구 대상이기도 합니다. 이 유전자와 관련된 두 개의 다른 trefoil family 유전자는 염색체 21번 상에서 클러스터 형태로 존재합니다.
