Target Information

Chemokine C-C thymus expressed chemokine (TECK), also known as chemokine ligand 25 (CCL25), is predominantly expressed in thymic dendritic cells, thymic epithelial cells, and small intestine.
TECK acts as a CCR9 ligand and regulates the trafficking of developing T cells within the thymus. It suppresses proliferation of immature myeloid progenitors stimulated by multiple growth factors and delivers signals through CCR9, which is crucial for thymocyte navigation.
Bone marrow pre-pro-B cells and IL-7/Flt-3 ligand responsive pro-B colony-forming cells migrate to TECK, a response lost in later stages of B cell development.
