Product Specific Information
This peptide corresponds to a 16 amino acid sequence near the carboxy terminus of human CCL17.
PEP-1558 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-34515.
For use as a blocking peptide in Western blot, incubate the peptide with an equal volume of antibody for 30 minutes at 37ºC.
Target Information
TARC ligand (CCL17) belongs to the CC chemokine family. It is a small cytokine located on the q arm of chromosome 16 in humans, along with other chemokines.
TARC specifically binds to T-cells and interacts with chemokine receptors CCR4 and CCR8. It plays an important role in T cell development in the thymus and in the trafficking and activation of mature T cells.
