Product Specific Information
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
Secreted epithelial mucins are large macromolecules exhibiting extreme polydispersity. Mucin 2 (MUC2) is the major intestinal mucin. O-glycans are attached to MUC2 in diverse arrangements, crucial for interactions with endogenous and exogenous lectins.
