Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature (RT).
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

Secreted epithelial mucins are large macromolecules exhibiting extreme polydispersity. Mucin 2 is the major intestinal mucin. O-glycans attached to MUC2 form a diverse arrangement crucial for interactions with endogenous and exogenous lectins.
