Target Information
SPON1 (Spondin-1) is a cell adhesion protein that promotes the attachment of spinal cord and sensory neuron cells and the outgrowth of neurites in vitro. It may contribute to axonal growth and guidance in both the spinal cord and peripheral nervous system and is known to be a major factor for vascular smooth muscle cells.
