Target Information
FOXO4 (Forkhead box O4)는 X 염색체에 위치한 FOXO4 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다. AFX1 또는 MLLT7 (Myeloid/Lymphoid or Mixed-Lineage Leukemia, Trithorax Homolog, Translocated To, 7)로도 알려져 있으며, FOXO1, FOXO3, FOXO6과 함께 forkhead/winged helix 계열 전사인자 O 클래스에 속합니다. FOXO4는 골격근과 지방 조직에서 풍부하게 발현되며, Insulin Responsive Element (IRE)에 결합하여 Insulin/IGF1 신호전달의 하위 표적(예: IGFBP1)을 활성화합니다. 그러나 Akt에 의한 인산화는 FOXO4가 14-3-3 단백질과 결합하여 핵 밖으로 이동하게 합니다.
