Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human ADAMTS1, L1.2, L2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 16 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
ADAMTS proteases are secreted enzymes containing a prometalloprotease domain of the reprolysin type. These proteases function in the processing of procollagens and von Willebrand factor, as well as catabolism of aggrecan, versican, and brevican. They play important roles in connective tissue organization, coagulation, inflammation, arthritis, angiogenesis, and cell migration.
The immunizing peptide sequence is 100% conserved between human, mouse, and rat.
