This antibody detects endogenous human and mouse DACH2 in Western blots.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

The DACH2 gene encodes a protein similar to the Drosophila dachshund transcription factor, which is involved in cell fate determination in the eye, limb, and genital disc.
The encoded protein has two characteristic domains:

• N-terminal domain for DNA binding
• C-terminal domain for protein-protein interactions

Located on the X chromosome, DACH2 is subject to inactivation by DNA methylation. It may regulate organogenesis and myogenesis and has been implicated in premature ovarian failure. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms exist.
