Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily, especially abundant in hematologic tissues. It activates the NF-kappaB pathway and selectively binds TNF receptor-associated factor 1 (TRAF1). This receptor can stimulate T-cell proliferation in the presence of CD3 signaling, suggesting a regulatory role in immune response. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
