Target Information
Neurogenin 1 (NeuroG1)는 기본 helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 단백질로, 세포 발달 중 세포 유형 결정에 관여하는 전사 인자입니다. NeuroG1은 신경발생(neurogenesis) 과정에서 전사 활성화 인자로 작용하며, 신경 줄기세포가 성상세포로 분화되는 것을 억제합니다. 이는 CREB-binding protein 전사 복합체를 성상세포 분화 관련 유전자에서 분리시키고, gliogenesis에 필수적인 STAT 전사 인자를 억제함으로써 이루어집니다.
