Target Information
SEPT6는 GTPase 계열의 septin 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 세포질 분열(cytokinesis)에 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
이 유전자는 소아 급성 골수성 백혈병의 특정 형태와 관련된 염색체 전좌에 관여하며, 여러 전사 변이체(transcript variants)를 통해 세 가지 이상의 이소폼을 생성합니다.
추가적인 전사 변이체도 보고되었으나 그 생물학적 타당성은 아직 확립되지 않았습니다.
