Target Information
BMPR2는 bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) 수용체 패밀리에 속하는 막관통형 serine/threonine kinase입니다. 이 수용체의 리간드는 endochondral bone 형성과 배아 발생에 관여하는 BMPs입니다. BMPR2에 의한 TCTEL1의 인산화 결여는 원발성 폐고혈압(PPH)의 병인에 기여할 수 있으며, BMPR2는 인간 T세포 분화에도 중요한 역할을 합니다. BMP 신호전달은 type I(약 50–55 kDa)과 type II(약 70–80 kDa) 수용체의 이합체 복합체 형성을 통해 이루어집니다. Type II 수용체는 type I 수용체 없이 리간드를 결합할 수 있지만, 신호전달에는 type I 수용체가 필요합니다. 반대로 type I 수용체는 리간드 결합에 type II 수용체를 필요로 합니다. BMPR2 유전자 변이는 가족성 및 fenfluramine 관련 원발성 폐고혈압, 폐정맥폐쇄질환과 연관되어 있습니다.
