Target Information
BEST3는 Bestrophin family에 속하는 음이온 채널 단백질로, BEST1(유전자 변이 시 vitelliform macular dystrophy 발생) 및 BEST2, BEST4와 함께 구성됩니다. Bestrophins는 transmembrane 단백질로, RFP 모티프를 포함한 고도로 보존된 구조를 가지며, 8개의 RFP-TM 도메인 인코딩 엑손과 유사한 유전자 구조를 공유합니다. 각 유전자는 고유한 3-prime 말단을 갖습니다.
