Target Information
AP2S1 단백질은 adaptor protein complex 2 (AP-2)의 구성요소로, 단백질 수송 및 소포 형성에 관여합니다.
AP-2는 클라트린 의존적 엔도사이토시스 과정에서 막 단백질을 선택적으로 수송 소포로 포함시키는 역할을 하며, 수용체 매개 엔도사이토시스와 시냅스 소포 재활용에도 관여합니다.
또한 Y-X-X-[FILMV] 및 [ED]-X-X-X-L-[LI] 모티프를 인식하여 세포막 단백질의 내포 및 재활용에 기여합니다.
AP-2는 ARF6-조절 비클라트린 경로를 통한 정상적인 세포 내 수송 유지에도 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
